Giving
We believe that business isn't all about taking, but a vehicle to be able to bless those that are less fortunate than ourselves. The world as we know it has an abundance of wealth and resources which, if evenly distributed could totally wipe out issues like preventable diseases, starvation and homelessness, to name a few. We try our best to be a company that is always thankful for what we have and are delighted to be able to do our bit to make life a bit easier for others.
After having visited India on three separate occasions to stay in an orphanage, our hearts were melted forever. We fell in love with the people and culture, and for around 8 years have been sponsor parents to a young girl there. We are now proud as a company to be able to support the hands on, wonderful work of our friends at Pursuit International. Their work touches the lives of people who need it most and they not only care deeply about what they do, but how they go about doing it. We now donate, on your behalf, a percentage of Dog Food NI's monthly turnover to help them in their mission to "PURSUE A WORLD WHERE CIRCUMSTANCE DOES NOT DETERMINE OPPORTUNITY. "

We have now also decided to support a locally run charity called 'Abaana Ministries'.
Abanna is a Christian based initiative that invests in the children of Africa, helping them break the chains of poverty, through education.
Most of their projects are in Uganda, working in 14 locations supporting the children and parents in these communities. Thanks to their donors, they have been able to build 13 schools, over 30 water wells, educate over 4000 children on a daily basis, rescue 60 children from a life on the streets, support churches and sponsor over 1500 children as well as continuing the work with children on the streets and other projects.
